Today I did Get Ripped and Chiseled from Jari Love. I received this one in a trade and it has been sitting on my shelf for a while. (approx. 64 mins) Jari uses light weights, high reps and 2-3 targeted exercises to totally fatigue a single muscle group. This overload principle is a proven weight-training technique designed to break through fitness "plateaus." You get 15 separate segments. Each one begins with a description of what's coming - exercises, number of reps and weight levels. Then it's 25 to 90 reps at varied tempos. positions and rang-of-motions. The exercises are all classics like squats, lunges, bicep curls and overhead presses.
Jari is not one of my favorite instructors but I do like her workouts. They really give you a good workout. One of the things I don't like about Jari is that after every exercise she asks "How did you do." The first time she did this I did not mind, but after the 4th time I was thinking that she needs to come up with something else to say. I have 5 of her 8 workouts and she says this after every exercise. I did not like the stretch section of the workout. Instead of instructing you through the stretches, Jari talks to her cast and you were just supposed to follow along.
Over all I give the workout itself 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
